Proud daughter of a retired West Point-trained general
(and from a long line of military men and strong, southern belles), I
was born in Oklahoma, educated in Europe, am fluent in French and
speak some German. I've worked on stage, in films, television, the
recording studio and on the radio as an actress and/or singer since I
was five; some of my favorite leading roles include: "Eliza" in My
Fair Lady, "The Girl" in The Seven-Year Itch (opposite MASH’s William
Christopher), "The Princess" in Cantaloupes & Cosmos (world premiere
at the Tamarind) and “Mary Jo Kinkaid” in LA Weekly 'Pick' PIECE OF MY
HEART (Lex Theatre/BSA). Co-starred opposite Tommy Lee Jones in Brit
Mick Jackson-directed cold war spy thriller YURI NOSENKO, KGB as
"femme fatale nightclub-singer/call-girl" and recently as "Mom"
alongside Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie) in feature comedy LA DJ.
Trained under Sanford Meisner (currently Gene Bua),
studied at the Shakespeare Theatre in DC, where I also performed my
one-woman show at the John F. Kennedy Center: Passions et Tendresses,
sung in French and English, and am currently recording lead vocals on
CATAHOULA’s 2nd CD. Thank you, Vera and Bruce! |
